Skills FAQ
What is a Hermes Agent skill?
A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file that tells the agent how to perform a task, plus any scripts or references it needs. Hermes can also create and improve its own skills after complex tasks.
Do Claude Code skills work in Hermes Agent?
Hermes is compatible with the agentskills.io open standard that uses SKILL.md files, so many skills written for other agents can be loaded. Check each skill for tools or paths that are specific to another agent.
