What pstack does

pstack is an unofficial port of the upstream pstack agent method, 'go fast by going deep first', packaged for Hermes Agent's portable plugin path. The package keeps the upstream identity pstack v0.15.5 and loads 47 skills: 24 workflow and mode skills plus 23 principle skills, discovered through a root plugin.json in the agent-plugins-v1 manifest format. You load the poteto-mode skill and give it a real task, and it classifies the work and routes it to the right playbook, so you do not choose playbooks yourself.

A setup-pstack skill writes pstack-models.json, an 18-role model panel that the workflow skills read, beside Hermes's config.yaml so plugin updates do not discard it. A hermesbot skill adds a control surface on the Hermes gateway webhook, signed with an HMAC header, plus hermes send and hermes peer. The repository's default branch is dist, the CI-built package, so hermes plugins update pstack fast-forwards it and --ref pins a commit. Two upstream parts, automations/benny and skills/make-bot-ui, are not shipped because Hermes's install scanner flags them.
