What Hermes Bible Skill does

The skill's main file, SKILL.md, is a router with embedded knowledge, a flows catalog and intent mappings. Reference files hold SOUL.md templates, delegation, kanban and cron patterns, a catalog of 26 real-world flows, eight community-sourced hidden features, a full 169-page documentation index with URLs, and a sanitized full-corpus export for offline lookup. The hidden features covered include /handoff, hermes -c, /browser connect, /steer, /claude-code, context compression levers and REST API endpoints.

There are three install modes. The recommended full install clones the repository and copies SKILL.md and references into ~/.hermes/skills/hermes-bible, or into a named profile's skills directory. A light install uses hermes skills install with the raw SKILL.md URL and skips the reference files. Optional bundles add a /hermes-complete slash command that loads the hermes-agent and hermes-bible skills together. After copying, start a new session or run /reload-skills.
