A collection of reusable Hermes Agent skills, including local Qwen3-TTS and upstream contribution
hermes-skills is a skill collection for Hermes Agent that currently offers a local Qwen3-TTS text-to-speech skill and a skill for contributing a derivative project back to its upstream. It can be added as a Hermes skills tap, so its skills install from the command line.
What hermes-skills does
The repository holds reusable skills for Hermes Agent, each in its own directory under skills/ with a SKILL.md that has YAML frontmatter. It currently lists two skills. qwen3-tts runs Qwen3-TTS text-to-speech locally, on Apple Silicon through MLX or on GPU and CPU through PyTorch, with custom voices, voice design and voice cloning. The README gives 10 languages, 3-second voice cloning and emotional control as its capabilities.
upstream-contribution helps a derivative project give back to the open-source project it builds on. It detects upstream relationships, forks the upstream repo, adds your project to its ecosystem or community section, opens a pull request, and can find relevant awesome lists, using a cron-job scanner script named scan-upstream-opportunities.py. The repository can be added as a Hermes skills tap so skills install with hermes skills install, or you can clone it and copy a skill folder into ~/.hermes/skills.
