What Robinhood Agent Skill does

The skill depends on the robinhood-mcp server, which supplies 13 MCP tools for portfolio equity, positions, watchlists, quotes, fundamentals, historical prices, news, earnings, analyst ratings, dividends, options positions and symbol search. Access is read-only. On Hermes Agent it installs with hermes skills install, either directly or through the skills tap system.

A cache-first strategy stores portfolio data at ~/.hermes/data/robinhood/portfolio_cache.json with a 15-minute staleness threshold, and python3 scripts/refresh_cache.py refreshes it manually. Research workflows add per-ticker entity pages, a research queue for tickers you are evaluating, and change detection between snapshots. Optional Obsidian integration writes dated, immutable portfolio snapshots. Configuration templates are included for Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode, Cline and Windsurf.
