Luban

LearnPrompt/luban-skill

Skill-polishing workshop that audits an agent skill and improves it through five gated steps

In short

Luban is an agent skill that takes a working skill and polishes it so other people can understand, install, share and verify it. It works through five actions and installs into Hermes Agent with a single command.

What Luban does

Point Luban at a skill directory, a GitHub repository link or SKILL.md content. It first challenges whether the skill is worth polishing, searches the web for peer skills to place it in its niche, and scores it with three measures: structure, tested behavior and a live check. It then offers three polishing directions with a recommendation, and changes nothing until you choose one.

Edits are made against a frozen baseline, one commit and one aspect at a time, and are kept only if they pass a validation gate. The deliverables are a 13-section polishing report with a peer comparison table that includes URLs, a shareable certificate showing before and after scores, and verification tools and project rules saved into your repository. Luban stops for explicit authorization before restructuring positioning, merging to the default branch, tagging a release or deploying anything users can see. Its first job took the ai-news-radar project from v0.6 to v0.7.0 with four merged pull requests.
