What Douyin Data Insight does

The skill offers four read-only commands run with Node.js: keyword search with sorting by likes or newest and filters for time window, duration and content type; a creator's posts from a profile link; comments for a video or image post; and the real-time trending list. Output is JSON with author, interaction counts, tags and links, and results for search, posts and comments are saved to a logs folder. A single call returns up to 10,000 items and usually takes 10 to 60 seconds.

It does not need a Douyin login. Instead it needs a GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN from the third-party guaikei.com service, and keywords and links are sent to that API. Version 1.3.0 is current in the README. It accepts desktop links, app short links and pasted share text, and handles one creator account per run. The README tells AI users to stop on authentication errors, not to retry after an explicit API error code, and not to invent data. Documentation is in Chinese.
