What Mercury Skills does
Mercury Skills is a library of SKILL.md playbooks for AI agents, with 132 skills in 23 categories such as development, AI and ML, backend, frontend, and shop and restaurant work. The skills are hand-curated and use the universal SKILL.md format, so one file works in any agent that supports the standard without per-agent forks. You can browse and search them at skills.mercuryagent.sh or install them with the Mercury Agent CLI.
For Hermes, the README tells you to drop individual skills into the .hermes/skills/ directory, either by cloning the whole repository or by copying the install line from a skill page on the website. The website also offers a trending leaderboard, bookmarks, per-skill social cards and a public JSON feed at /api/feed.json for tool builders. The Mercury CLI adds atomic writes, version pinning and rollback on failure. Contributions come in by pull request.
