Skill Flow

VintLin/skill-flow

CLI and macOS app for installing, updating and sharing agent skills across many coding agents

In short

Skill Flow is a skills manager that imports skill sources from skills.sh, GitHub or local folders and deploys the selected skills to many coding agents at once, with Hermes Agent among its targets.

What Skill Flow does

Skill Flow treats a source repository as one workflow group instead of installing skills one at a time. A source can be local, a Git repository or skills.sh; you inspect it, select skills and deploy them to several targets. The README lists Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, MiniMax Code, Kimi Code, WorkBuddy, CodeBuddy, Trae, Windsurf and ZCode among the targets. It aims to fix agents expecting different locations, updates drifting silently and unmanaged folders piling up.

State is explicit: manifest.json stores intent and lock.json stores resolved inventory and deployments. Commands include add, list, config, find, update and doctor, with repair-source, repair-state and repair-targets for broken projections. An Ink-based terminal UI handles configuration, and a SwiftUI desktop app for macOS 15 or later adds a main window, an import view and a menu bar quick config. The command skill-flow bridge --json gives the desktop app a machine-readable entry point.

Key features

  • Imports skills from skills.sh, Git repositories and local folders
  • Deploys one selected skill set to many agents, including Hermes Agent
  • manifest.json for intent and lock.json for resolved deployments
  • doctor and repair commands for drift and broken projections
  • Ink terminal UI and a SwiftUI macOS desktop app

When to use it

  • Installing a multi-skill repository once and deploying it to Hermes and other agents
  • Updating all installed skill sources with a single command
  • Finding drifted or unmanaged skill folders with doctor

Who it is for: Developers who run several coding agents and want one tool to keep their skills consistent.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent is one of the deployment targets named in the README, which lets Skill Flow place shared skills where Hermes expects them.
