Hermes Agent skill for multi-chain blockchain cash flow analysis, fraud detection and a live dashboard
Mercury is a Hermes Agent skill that analyzes the transactions of Ethereum, Base and Solana wallets. It reports cash flow, flags suspicious patterns and opens an interactive dashboard.
What Mercury does
Mercury is a Hermes Agent skill for blockchain cash flow analysis. It fetches transactions for Ethereum, Base and Solana addresses, breaks cash flow into period-by-period inflows and outflows with token distribution and top counterparties, and runs six fraud pattern detectors: dust attacks, rapid transfers, mixer interaction, address poisoning, dormant activation and high fan-out.
A trading strategy script turns the cash flow and fraud results into generated insights, and a Python HTTP server serves a three-layer dashboard built from a WebGL shader background, canvas particles and an HTML interface with stat cards, gauges and a risk grid. Under Hermes, the agent detects the chain, uses delegate_task subagents to fetch and analyze in parallel, and launches the dashboard. The scripts can also run standalone, and API keys for Etherscan, Basescan and Helius are read from ~/.hermes/.env.
Key features
- Transaction fetching for Ethereum, Base and Solana
- Period-by-period inflow and outflow analysis with top counterparties
- Six fraud pattern detectors including address poisoning and mixer interaction
- Generated trading strategy insights from wallet behavior
- Interactive WebGL, canvas and HTML dashboard
- Parallel work with Hermes delegate_task subagents
When to use it
- Asking Hermes to analyze a wallet address and receiving a dashboard
- Checking an address for dust attacks or high fan-out behavior
- Running the fetch, analyze and strategy scripts by hand outside Hermes
Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who analyze on-chain wallets and want a ready-made skill for it.
How it fits with Hermes Agent
It is built as a Hermes skill with a SKILL.md, installed under ~/.hermes/skills, and uses Hermes subagents and the ~/.hermes/.env file for keys.
Requirements: ETHERSCAN_API_KEY, BASESCAN_API_KEY and HELIUS_API_KEY in ~/.hermes/.env, which the README says are free to obtain
Note: The README's clone command contains a YOUR_USERNAME placeholder instead of the real repository owner.
FAQ
What is Mercury?
Mercury is a Hermes Agent skill that analyzes wallet cash flow on Ethereum, Base and Solana, detects six fraud patterns, generates a trading strategy and serves an interactive dashboard.
How do I add Mercury to Hermes Agent?
The README says to clone the repository into ~/.hermes/skills/data-science/blockchain-cashflow and add the three API keys to ~/.hermes/.env. Its clone URL contains a YOUR_USERNAME placeholder that must be replaced.
Is Mercury free and open source?
The repository has no license file, so default copyright applies. Check with the author before reusing or redistributing the code.
