What Douyin Insight does

The README, written in Chinese, describes four command-line tools: keyword search with sorting, such as by likes; fetching a creator's works from a profile link; fetching a video's comments; and reading the real-time hot list. Output is JSON containing titles, authors, like, comment, favorite and share counts, tags and video links, and results are saved to a logs folder, except the hot list, which is read live. One call can return up to 10,000 items and typically takes 10 to 60 seconds.

The skill reads public data only and does not need your Douyin login. It runs through a third-party service: you obtain a GUAIKEI_API_TOKEN from www.guaikei.com, and keywords or links are sent to that API. Pasted app share text is cleaned automatically. The README also gives error-handling rules for AI agents, such as stopping on authentication errors, not retrying with altered parameters and not inventing data. The current version is 1.3.0.
