What Hermes Edu Skills does

Each of the 170 skills follows the standard SKILL.md format and is organized around a real task, textbook synchronization, exam-prep review, photo Q&A, mistake-review, daily practice, reading and writing, family learning, and teacher lesson prep and home-school communication, rather than one skill per grade or textbook edition. Grade, textbook version, unit, lesson, knowledge point and difficulty are passed in as parameters instead of generating thousands of near-duplicate skill files.

Hermes Agent is the default target, installed through a published CLI (npx hermes-edu-skills install hermes) or from source, and the whole pack can also export to OpenClaw, Codex, Cursor and Claude Code. The repository ships only public skill documentation, an index and validation tooling, with a catalog.json and a .well-known/skills/index.json for programmatic discovery, and contains no user data, API keys or backend service implementation.
