ciberjohn/Hermes-Skills

Collection of Hermes Agent skills for content pipelines, 3D printing, diagrams, security ops and more

In short

Hermes Skills is a growing collection of reusable Hermes Agent skills by João Silva, each installed by sending a copy-paste prompt to your agent.

What Hermes Skills does

Each skill lives in its own folder with a README that contains a copy-paste install prompt. You send that prompt to your Hermes agent, and it clones the repository, places the files in ~/.hermes/skills/ and asks the configuration questions it needs. Installed skills become slash commands such as /medium-story, /short-videos, /excalidraw and /ai-projects, or you can describe what you want in plain language.

The current list includes skill-writer, a meta-skill that generates new Hermes skills with SKILL.md, README, templates and a peer review; medium-story, which produces an article package with illustration, video script, LinkedIn post and YouTube script; ciberjohn-no-slop, a set of writing constraints with a check script; short-videos for 90-second scripts; excalidraw for diagrams saved as JSON; openrouter-image-gen; ai-projects for syncing a Git repository; 3dprinter, which slices STL and 3MF files with OrcaSlicer for a Flashforge AD5X; openscad-cad for parametric models; and t3mp3st-autonomous-security.

Key features

  • skill-writer meta-skill that generates new Hermes skills from a description
  • medium-story article package with illustration, video script and social posts
  • 3dprinter and openscad-cad skills for slicing and parametric CAD
  • excalidraw diagrams generated as JSON files
  • openrouter-image-gen for image generation through the OpenRouter API
  • Install-by-prompt: each skill folder has a copy-paste install prompt

When to use it

  • Producing a full article package from a single topic prompt
  • Slicing an STL for a Flashforge AD5X and sending it to the printer over the LAN API
  • Generating a new Hermes skill from a plain-language description

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who want ready-made skills for writing, video scripts, diagrams and 3D printing workflows.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

Built for Hermes Agent: every skill installs into ~/.hermes/skills/ and runs as a Hermes slash command or through natural-language requests.
