Hermes Phone Remote

Hermes desktop plugin that shows a QR code so you can keep chatting with Hermes from your phone

In short

Hermes Phone Remote is a Hermes desktop plugin that adds a Connect phone entry, shows a QR code and lets you continue chatting with Hermes from your phone through the existing dashboard.

What Hermes Phone Remote does

The plugin reuses the stock Hermes dashboard instead of adding its own backend. The phone loads the dashboard, started with hermes dashboard --host 0.0.0.0 --port 9119, and chat runs over the dashboard's /api/pty WebSocket. LAN mode opens the PC's address on port 9119 over the same Wi-Fi after a one-time password login. Internet mode starts a Cloudflare quick tunnel through cloudflared and shows a public trycloudflare.com address, which you reach by scanning a one-shot pairing token instead of typing a password.

Internet mode has safety rails: the address is random, the plugin refuses to open a public link unless a dashboard password is set, a two-step confirmation is required, and the tunnel closes itself after two hours unless extended. Pairing QR codes renew when the 10-minute token expires. The README documents dashboard auth pitfalls and notes that the stock dashboard's mobile portrait layout is not adapted, so landscape works better. Version 0.3.0 is described as working and verified end to end. It is MIT licensed.
