Planned read-only web dashboard for browsing Hermes Agent config, sessions, memory and skills
Hermes Dashboard is a standalone, read-only web dashboard project for Hermes Agent that is designed to display config, sessions, memory, skills and cron jobs by reading the files in ~/.hermes. The README marks it as in development, at the spec and UI design stage.
What Hermes Dashboard does
Hermes Dashboard is designed to read the state Hermes Agent keeps in ~/.hermes (respecting HERMES_HOME) and present it in a web interface, without importing from or depending on the Hermes codebase. Planned sections are Overview, Config, Environment (API keys redacted to their first four characters), Sessions with FTS5 search, Memory and user profile with usage bars, Soul, Skills and Cron Jobs. The data comes from config.yaml, .env, hermes_state.sqlite, MEMORY.md, USER.md, SOUL.md, skills/*/SKILL.md and cron/jobs.json.
The planned architecture is a single-file FastAPI backend (app.py) serving a JSON API and a vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript single-page frontend with no build step. It binds to 127.0.0.1:8787, rejects non-localhost origins and never writes to Hermes data files. At the time of the README, the requirements document and a v0-generated UI prototype were done, while the technical design, implementation tasks, backend and frontend were still unchecked.

How it fits with Hermes Agent
Hermes Dashboard is built for Hermes Agent but stays decoupled from it, reading the same files in ~/.hermes rather than importing Hermes code.
Note: The README marks the project as in development, at the spec and UI design phase, with the backend and frontend not yet implemented.
