What Hermes Messenger does

Hermes Messenger restyles the Hermes Agent desktop app as a Telegram or iMessage-style chat. Your messages sit on the right in the theme's accent color and the agent's on the left, with consecutive replies grouped. Attached images show as thumbnails, code and text files show their first lines, audio and video get a player, and reactions appear as small pills under a bubble. Reply and quote works on hover or text selection.

Cron reports and kanban alerts become left-aligned cards instead of looking like your own messages, and bot-to-bot exchanges collapse into one row that opens as a small chat. A noise filter with All, Calm and Results levels, cycled with Cmd+Option+F, hides tool calls, thinking and background notices to different degrees. A live inbox above the composer lists waiting cron reports and teammate messages, with Handle now and Skip actions that need confirmation and the package backend enabled.
