Read-only observability dashboard plugin for Hermes Agent that maps journeys, tool calls and failures

In short

Hermes Labyrinth is a read-only observability plugin for the Hermes Agent dashboard. It turns agent work such as prompts, tool calls, failures, subagents and cron runs into a map of crossings with exportable, redacted reports.

What Hermes Labyrinth does

Hermes Labyrinth describes itself as a black-box recorder rather than a chat UI. It reads local Hermes state through Hermes dashboard plugin routes and lists recent CLI, dashboard, gateway, cron and delegated work as a journey index. Selecting a journey opens a map of ordered crossings: prompts, tool calls and results, failures, model switches, subagents, approvals, memory hits, redactions, context compression and cron runs.

An inspector shows input, output, duration, status and evidence for each crossing, and guideposts add generated observations backed by local evidence. Other views cover a skill atlas with shadowed overrides and duplicate diagnostics, a cron gate with next runs and last failures, and a model ferry for provider transitions. The plugin is read-only by design. It never starts, stops or mutates Hermes sessions, and it shows [redaction unavailable] instead of raw text if the Hermes redactor cannot load.

Key features

  • Journey index of recent CLI, dashboard, gateway, cron and delegated work
  • Ordered map of crossings with an inspector for input, output, duration and status
  • Skill atlas showing shadowed overrides and duplicate skills
  • Cron gate with next runs, last failures and workdirs
  • Model ferry showing model and provider transitions across sessions
  • Redacted Markdown and JSON reports for one journey

When to use it

  • Reviewing what a long autonomous Hermes run actually did, step by step
  • Finding which cron job failed last and why
  • Exporting a redacted report of one agent journey to share with a teammate
  • Auditing which skills are overridden or duplicated

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who run autonomous, scheduled or delegated work and want a read-only view of what the agent did.
