What Hermes Bot Kit does

The kit bundles five plugins. Bubble Mode restyles each bot's main Bot Chat as iMessage-style bubbles with a typing indicator and hides thinking and tool noise, while approvals stay visible. Computer docks a remote-desktop pane for cloud boxes, spare Macs, Windows PCs or Linux machines and auto-connects when a bot starts using its computer. Bot Sections adds named, collapsible sections to the Bots roster. Task Dock pins the Tasks list above the composer.

The fifth, texting-style, is an agent plugin installed per Hermes profile that makes bots reply in short text-message style, only in Bot Mode chats. The desktop plugins are single-file disk plugins with no build step and no core patches, and they fall back to stock rendering if a Hermes update renames internal hooks. The project states that it is not affiliated with xAI.
