What Agent Orchestrator for Omarchy does

Agent Orchestrator for Omarchy is a status-bar widget and popup panel that tracks AI coding agents running on a Linux desktop. Hermes is one of several sources, alongside Herdr, OMP, Claude, Codex, OpenCode, Agy and Grok. For Hermes it reads the CLI and Desktop app database at ~/.hermes/state.db, and it can list sessions from remote Hermes gateways registered with hermes peer add, using the peer's api_server endpoints in read-only mode.

The bar shows an icon, a task ticker or a compact count, and clicking a card switches the Hyprland workspace and focuses the matching terminal window, Herdr pane or Hermes Desktop window. The popup has filter tabs for All, Working, Waiting, Done and Idle, and each card shows model tags, the latest prompt and tool activity. Sensitive keys and tokens are redacted from displayed text, and remote cards cannot be focused or terminated.
