What Hermes-Relay does

Hermes-Relay keeps the agent on your own machine and puts a client on the devices you carry. The Android app offers streaming chat, hands-free voice, native plugin pages and the Hermes dashboard for models, keys, skills and profiles, rebuilt natively. Options include a floating Petdex companion and making Hermes your Android assistant, and sideload builds can let the agent read and act on the screen.

A vanilla Hermes Agent install is enough for chat, management, voice, inbound files and ordinary plugin pages, using hermes setup --portal and hermes dashboard, reachable from the phone over a trusted LAN, Tailscale or an HTTPS reverse proxy. The optional Hermes-Relay plugin adds Terminal and TUI, notifications, desktop tools, enhanced voice, Relay sessions, page drafts and optional Device Control. A beta single-binary CLI gives the agent consent-gated access to files, terminal, search and screenshots on any machine you pair. Releases come through Google Play or a sideload APK with the fuller feature set.
