Self-hostable mission-control dashboard that pairs with your local Hermes agent through Postgres
Hermy HQ is a self-hostable Next.js dashboard template for dispatching work to a local Hermes agent, approving side-effecting actions and browsing its memory. The website and the agent communicate through a shared Postgres database.
What Hermy HQ does
Hermy HQ is a template and starting point, not a hosted product. You supply your own Postgres database, Hermes install and API keys, and configure everything with environment variables. The control hub lets you dispatch one-shot prompts or kanban tasks, review an approval inbox for side-effecting requests, follow a live activity feed and run history, and see the agent's cron list and health mirrored on the site.
The deployed site never talks to the agent directly. It inserts requests into Postgres, and a small bridge process on the machine running Hermes polls the database, runs queued or approved requests through the hermes CLI and writes results back. Requests with side effects stay in an awaiting_approval state until you approve them. Further pages include a Memory Wiki, tasks and ideas boards, and an X/Twitter content pipeline. The stack is Next.js 16, React 19, Prisma and NextAuth with Google login.
Key features
- Dispatch one-shot prompts or kanban tasks to Hermes
- Approval inbox for side-effecting requests
- Live activity feed, run history and cron health mirrored from the agent
- Memory Wiki for browsing and editing the agent's memory
- Bridge process on your own machine that needs only outbound access to Postgres
- Command palette and a scheduled daily brief
When to use it
- Approve or reject actions your Hermes agent wants to take from a browser
- Browse and edit the agent's memory as a wiki
- Monitor cron jobs and run history for an always-on Hermes agent
Who it is for: Self-hosters who run Hermes Agent on their own machine and want a web cockpit with approval gates.
How it fits with Hermes Agent
Built for Hermes Agent. It drives the hermes CLI through a bridge and mirrors the kanban board, cron data, memory and activity back to the site.
How to install Hermy HQ
