Self-hosted 2D office in your browser where OpenClaw, Hermes and Codex agents appear as characters at desks
My Virtual Office is a self-hosted 2D workspace that shows AI agents as characters walking between desks in a browser. It connects to OpenClaw, Hermes Agent and Codex and visualizes what they are doing in real time.
What My Virtual Office does
My Virtual Office replaces scrolling logs with a small animated office where agents sit at desks, grab coffee and chat. For Hermes Agent it acts as an external client of Hermes' authenticated API Server, using /v1/runs, server-sent events, approvals, stops, models and the session API. You run one native Hermes gateway per profile and add one connection per gateway under Settings, Integrations, Hermes, with an API URL and API_SERVER_KEY. Hermes keeps ownership of profiles, tools, sessions and credentials.
Because /v1/runs does not hydrate older turns on its own, the app reads authenticated session history and supplies it as conversation history, and it rejects a run rather than silently lose context. An optional Compose profile runs the pinned nousresearch/hermes-agent:v2026.8.3 image on an internal network. A separate Hermes messaging platform plugin lets the Hermes gateway deliver queued office messages and post replies into the office chat. OpenClaw connects through its gateway and mounted home directory.
