Simplified Chinese version of the Hermes WebUI, a browser interface for Hermes Agent
Web3Hermes is a Simplified Chinese edition of the Hermes WebUI, a browser interface that gives Hermes Agent a chat, session and workspace view. It is modified from nesquena/hermes-webui, with the install flow and interface translated.
What Web3Hermes does
The UI is a lightweight dark-themed web app, with a light mode, built from Python and plain JavaScript with no build step, framework or bundler. The layout has three columns: sessions and navigation on the left, chat in the center, and a workspace file browser with inline preview on the right. Model, profile and workspace controls sit in the composer footer, a context ring shows token use at a glance, and settings live in a Hermes control center. The README says it aims for near 1:1 parity with the Hermes CLI.
This edition translates everything from the installer to daily use, defaults to Simplified Chinese and fixes a number of translation errors. Running python3 bootstrap.py detects Hermes Agent, runs the official installer if it is missing, prepares a Python environment, starts the server, waits for /health, opens the browser and launches a first-run wizard. Docker images, Docker Compose and a two-container setup with separate Agent and WebUI containers are also described, with port 8787 by default and an optional HERMES_WEBUI_PASSWORD.
