Native Windows WPF app for managing a remote Hermes Agent host over SSH
Hermes Desktop for Windows is a native .NET 8 WPF app that connects to a Hermes Agent host over SSH to browse sessions, edit memory files and open a terminal. It is a Windows port of the macOS hermes-desktop by dodo-reach.
What Hermes Desktop for Windows does
The app is aimed at people who keep Hermes on a Raspberry Pi, a VPS or another remote machine. It uses your existing SSH key and sends short Python snippets over the session to read data, so nothing is installed on the remote host. You can search and read stored conversations, edit USER.md, MEMORY.md and SOUL.md with conflict detection if the file changes on the server, and keep markdown notes in a wiki under ~/.hermes/wiki with wikilinks, backlinks and autosave.
Other sections include a tabbed SSH terminal with selectable fonts and five themes, a cron job editor with pause, resume, run-now and delete, a token usage dashboard with per-model breakdown and cost estimates, and a skills browser for SKILL.md files, including directories listed under skills.external_dirs. Connections can be imported from ~/.ssh/config, and each connection can target the default ~/.hermes directory or a named profile. Distribution is a single self-contained HermesDesktop.exe of about 72 MB from the Releases page.
