Real-time dashboard and auto-generated wiki for Hermes Agent sessions, tool calls and config
Hermes Dashboard is a real-time monitoring dashboard and auto-generated wiki for Hermes Agent. A Hermes plugin streams session events to a React interface, and the wiki reads skills, plugins, config, memory and soul from ~/.hermes.
What Hermes Dashboard does
A Python plugin hooks into the Hermes session lifecycle and sends events over a Unix socket at /tmp/hermes-dashboard.sock to a Node.js bridge server. The bridge serves a WebSocket on port 3001 to the React dashboard and an HTTP wiki API on port 3002 that reads ~/.hermes. The dashboard tracks session phases such as processing, idle, awaiting input and needs approval, and shows an activity feed of tool calls, messages and approvals.
Per-session pages include a context window visualization, tool execution history and subagent tracking, along with a session timeline and tool usage breakdown. The wiki lists installed skills and plugins, a built-in tool reference of 56 tools across 10 categories, the CLI, config.yaml, MEMORY.md and USER.md, SOUL.md, architecture notes and a changelog. While the server is running the wiki reads live from ~/.hermes; offline it falls back to built-in reference data. The frontend uses React 19, TypeScript and Vite.
