JARVIS Hermes Dashboard

Itsme23476/jarvis-hermes-dashboard

Local voice-enabled browser dashboard for Hermes Agent with slash commands and session continuity

In short

JARVIS Hermes Dashboard is a local, voice-enabled browser dashboard for Hermes Agent. It is a visual interface over your existing Hermes profile, so it uses the same tools, skills, memory and MCP servers.

What JARVIS Hermes Dashboard does

JARVIS Hermes Dashboard is a local browser HUD for Hermes Agent with a continuous voice loop: listen, transcribe, answer, speak, listen again. It is a visual interface over your existing Hermes profile, not a second agent runtime, so it inherits the tools, skills, memory, browser automation and MCP servers already configured. Replies use a concise JARVIS voice persona, and Hermes sessions continue across voice turns.

Speech uses the browser's SpeechRecognition and speechSynthesis by default, with optional ElevenLabs speech-to-text and text-to-speech if a key is added to the private .env file. The HTTP server binds to 127.0.0.1, and the key stays server-side. A command matrix of buttons and slash commands includes /new, /goal, /tools, /browser, /background, /mission, /personality and /status. It uses the default Hermes profile unless HERMES_PROFILE is set, and HERMES_CMD points to a nonstandard Hermes path. It can also be installed by giving a prompt to an existing Hermes Agent.

Key features

  • Continuous voice conversation: listen, transcribe, answer, speak
  • Optional ElevenLabs speech with a browser speech fallback
  • Command matrix with slash commands such as /goal, /browser and /background
  • Hermes session continuity across voice turns
  • Local-only HTTP server bound to 127.0.0.1
  • Selectable Hermes profile through HERMES_PROFILE

When to use it

  • Talking to Hermes Agent hands-free from a browser tab
  • Queueing background missions and checking status from one screen
  • Reusing an existing Hermes profile's tools and integrations through a voice interface

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users on macOS or Linux who want a voice-driven mission-control interface for their existing agent.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

Built for Hermes Agent as a front end that calls Hermes itself, so tools, skills, memory and gateway integrations are configured in Hermes rather than in the dashboard.

FAQ

What is JARVIS Hermes Dashboard?

JARVIS Hermes Dashboard is a local voice-enabled web dashboard for Hermes Agent. It sits on top of your existing Hermes profile instead of running a separate agent.

Does JARVIS Hermes Dashboard need API keys?

No keys are required for the basic dashboard, because it falls back to browser speech APIs. Adding an ElevenLabs key to the private .env file enables ElevenLabs speech-to-text and text-to-speech.

How do I install JARVIS Hermes Dashboard?

Clone the repository and run ./install.sh, which creates a private .env file and starts the dashboard. You can instead give Hermes Agent the one-prompt install text from the README and let it clone, install and verify the dashboard.
