Agent Hub

Potarix/agent-hub

Native macOS app for chatting with Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw, locally or over SSH

In short

Agent Hub is an open-source macOS app that puts Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw in one chat window, running each agent CLI on the local Mac or on a remote host over SSH.

What Agent Hub does

Agent Hub wraps the official claude, codex, hermes and openclaw command-line binaries, so features of each CLI such as CLAUDE.md, MCP servers, memory files and slash commands behave as they do in a terminal. Each thread can target the local Mac or a remote host over SSH, with the same thread history and permission model. Hermes is listed as a supported agent for both local and SSH use.

Permission modes are set per agent as ask, acceptEdits or bypassPermissions, and the approval dialog shows the exact tool call and arguments before anything runs. The app supports parallel threads, image paste, file drops, slash-command search across providers and model switching per thread. An openai-compat provider can point at endpoints such as llama.cpp, vLLM and Groq. It can also pin Claude Desktop and Codex Desktop inside its window using macOS Accessibility APIs. The README states that there is no telemetry.

Key features

  • Runs Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw CLIs in one window
  • Per-thread choice of local Mac or SSH host
  • Per-agent permission modes with a visual approval dialog showing tool arguments
  • Searchable slash commands registered by every provider
  • openai-compat provider for llama.cpp, vLLM, Groq and similar endpoints

When to use it

  • Running several agent threads in parallel from one macOS window
  • Driving a Hermes install on a remote server over SSH from a Mac
  • Approving agent tool calls with a visual diff-style dialog instead of terminal prompts

Who it is for: Mac users who work with more than one coding agent and want one interface, including for Hermes Agent on remote hosts.

How it fits with Hermes Agent
