What Hermes Workspace does

Hermes Workspace is a browser-based control surface built for Hermes Agent. Version 2 is described as zero-fork: you clone the repository and it runs against the standard NousResearch/hermes-agent installed with Nous's own installer. Chat supports real-time SSE streaming, tool call rendering, multiple sessions and syntax-highlighted markdown, while separate pages cover memory browsing and editing, a skills browser, an MCP page, and a file browser with Monaco and a cross-platform terminal.

For multi-agent work it adds an Operations dashboard with profile presets (Sage, Trader, Builder, Scribe, Ops), a Conductor for mission dispatch and decomposition, an Agent View panel, and a Swarm Mode of persistent tmux-backed Hermes Agent workers with role-based dispatch and a Kanban task board. Other pieces include a usage and cost dashboard, five themes, auth middleware on every route, and a PWA install that can be reached over Tailscale.
