Ekko Studio

EKKOLearnAI/ekko-studio

Local-first AI workspace for multi-agent chat and visual workflows, formerly Hermes Studio and Hermes Web UI

In short

Ekko Studio is a local-first AI workspace for multi-agent chat, coding and visual workflows, available as a desktop app and a self-hosted web console. It was previously named Hermes Studio and Hermes Web UI, and it keeps a dedicated control plane for Hermes Agent.

What Ekko Studio does

Ekko Studio ships as a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux, a self-hosted web console, an npm CLI package and a Docker image. It was previously named Hermes Studio and Hermes Web UI, and the legacy hermes-web-ui package and command remain supported and receive the same releases.

It runs Hermes, Ekko, Claude Code, Codex, Pi, Grok, OpenCode and DeepSeek Harness with streaming responses, tool traces, generated-file previews and persistent sessions. For Hermes it keeps profiles, providers, models, memory, skills, plugins, jobs, Kanban, channels and MCP in a Hermes-owned control plane under /api/hermes/*. Shared Studio features include group chat, visual workflows with human approval gates, schedules, a file browser, a web terminal, voice input and output, device discovery and usage views.
