What Hermes Telegram Business does

Customer messages arriving through Telegram Business Mode are debounced for 8 seconds, drafted once by the LLM, and delivered to the owner's DM with Send, Edit and Discard buttons. Send delivers through the Business connection, Edit turns your next DM into the outgoing message, and Discard drops the draft. No auto-send path exists, buttons are authorized against the connection's owner_user_id, and drafts expire after 24 hours by default.

Drafting uses your active Hermes model through the plugin LLM surface, so no separate API key is needed, and state is kept in a plugin-owned SQLite file at ~/.hermes/telegram-business/state.db. Owner commands include /biz for status, /biz pause and /biz resume as a global kill switch, and per-chat mute. Version 1 handles text only, drafts each message without conversation history and does not learn from your edits. An owner_persona setting in config.yaml shapes the drafting voice.
