Hermes HUD Web UI

joeynyc/hermes-hudui

Browser dashboard for Hermes Agent covering memory, skills, sessions, costs, cron jobs and health

In short

Hermes HUD Web UI is a browser-based dashboard for Hermes Agent that reads the agent's local ~/.hermes/ data. It spreads memory, skills, sessions, costs, cron jobs and health across 19 tabs and updates live over WebSocket.

What Hermes HUD Web UI does

Hermes HUD Web UI is the browser version of the Hermes HUD terminal dashboard. It reads the ~/.hermes/ directory and the hermes CLI directly, then shows 19 tabs: executive dashboard, identity, memory, skills, sessions, replay, cron jobs, projects, health diagnostics, costs, model analytics, patterns, corrections, sudo governance, live chat, OAuth providers, gateway control, plugin management and live model capabilities. Updates arrive over WebSocket without a manual refresh.

The Replay tab turns a Hermes session into redacted, shareable artifacts: JSON, GitHub-ready Markdown, standalone HTML, a PNG share card and a fork.json. Safe Share Mode is the default and redacts tool arguments, terminal output, reasoning, token-like values, emails and local paths. The server is local-only by default and rejects cross-site requests; binding to a LAN needs --host 0.0.0.0 --unsafe-allow-remote. It is verified against Hermes Agent v0.20.3 and keeps compatibility with state.db schemas v16 and v23.

Key features

  • 19 tabs covering memory, skills, sessions, cron jobs, costs, model analytics and health
  • Real-time updates over WebSocket and filesystem events
  • Replay tab that exports redacted JSON, Markdown, HTML and PNG share cards
  • Gateway and plugin management, including Nous Tool Gateway routing visibility
  • Local-only server by default, with explicit flags for LAN access
  • Health checks that flag drift from the verified Hermes Agent data layout

When to use it

  • Check the health, spend and top model of a running Hermes Agent at a glance
  • Export a redacted replay of a session to attach to a GitHub issue or PR
  • Manage Hermes plugins and the gateway from a browser

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who want a browser dashboard for what their agent knows, runs and costs.
