What Hermes Agent CN Desktop does

Hermes Agent CN Desktop is a desktop client from the Hermes Agent Chinese community, built with Tauri v2, Rust, React and TypeScript. It runs natively on Windows and macOS, using the system WebView rather than a bundled Chromium, and ships with Hermes-CN-Core, a community-modified Hermes Agent core. The desktop shell can install, update, verify, health-check and roll back that local core. The repository holds the shell only; the agent runtime and dashboard source live in Hermes-CN-Core.

The interface covers chat with streaming output and attachments, MCP tools, skills, memory, profiles, scheduled tasks, LaTeX and Mermaid rendering, usage statistics and a runtime health panel. Setup is to install the app and add an API key or a local model endpoint such as Ollama, vLLM, LM Studio or llama.cpp, and Feishu integration settings are included. A YOLO mode switch in Settings, behind a second confirmation, auto-approves dangerous commands. The README is in Simplified Chinese, with an English version linked.
