Kagi web search, page extraction and enriched search provider for Hermes Agent
Hermes Kagi Plugin is a Hermes Agent plugin that replaces the default web_search and web_extract backends with Kagi. It also adds a kagi_enriched_search tool that returns Kagi's full enrichment data, such as infoboxes, adjacent questions and related searches.
What Hermes Kagi Plugin does
Hermes Kagi Plugin registers a Kagi provider for Hermes's web search and extraction. web_search is routed through Kagi's v1 search API, and URL content extraction uses the v1 extract API, which returns full page content as markdown. Both can use Kagi through web.backend, or you can split them with search_backend and extract_backend. Kagi has no crawl endpoint, so crawl is not supported.
The extra kagi_enriched_search tool exposes data that the standard Hermes web_search contract strips out. It accepts a query, a workflow (search, images, videos, news or podcasts), a limit from 1 to 100 that defaults to 10, and an include_enrichment flag. The response includes web results plus infoboxes, adjacent questions, direct answers, related searches and other categories, and empty categories are omitted. The README explains that the official kagimcp server targets Kagi's v0 API with a separate key scope, whereas this plugin uses the v1 API and the same key used for /api/v1/extract.
