What hermes-yandex-disk does

The plugin registers fourteen tools over one OAuth credential: disk info, list, read file, trash list, download, mkdir, write file, upload, copy, move, trash restore, publish, delete and trash empty. A fifteenth tool, yadisk_search, appears wherever the token may use Yandex's search endpoint. The plugin talks to cloud-api.yandex.net directly, so no third-party service sees your files or token.

YANDEX_DISK_ROOT confines every tool to one folder and checks every path, including ones the model invents. YANDEX_DISK_ACTIONS decides which tools are registered at all, so a tool outside the allow-list cannot be called, and YANDEX_DISK_ACTIONS=read gives a read-only Disk. Writes, copies, moves and uploads refuse an existing destination unless overwrite is passed, and deletes go to the bin by default. The README says the plugin is tested on every pull request, weekly and before every release against Hermes v2026.9.24, the latest release and main, on Python 3.11 to 3.14.

Requirements: A Yandex OAuth token with the scopes cloud_api:disk.info, cloud_api:disk.read and cloud_api:disk.write, and Python 3.11 to 3.14
