What Hermes Android does

Hermes Android is a Dart and Flutter client for Hermes Agent. The current README describes version 2.1.14, distributed as APKs on the Releases page, with an ARM64 release build recommended for modern phones. Version 2.0.0 merged a community Remote Gateway edition that uses a Desktop Gateway JSON-RPC session for text, images and files.

In the chat you can copy and select text, read replies aloud, stop a run, edit and resend, regenerate and export. Each draft can carry up to 10 attachments, capped at 64 MiB total with a 16 MiB limit per generic file. You can pick a model and thinking effort per chat without changing the profile default, and search, rename, branch and delete remote conversations. The app shows native approval, sudo and secret prompts, tool activity and subagent status, and sends Android notifications when a turn finishes in the background. It ships in nine languages.
