Hermes Genesis

Ridwannurudeen/hermes-genesis

Autonomous fiction engine where Hermes-4-70B and Kimi-K2.6 agents publish a fictional Wikipedia

In short

Hermes Genesis is an autonomous fiction engine that publishes a self-writing, wiki-style canon about a simulated world, with Hermes-4-70B making canon decisions and acting as critic and Kimi-K2.6 writing the prose. It also ships skills and an MCP bridge for Hermes Agent.

What Hermes Genesis does

From a one-sentence premise, a world simulation generates events, and a canon agent running on Hermes-4-70B decides which events deserve an article. Kimi-K2.6 writes the long-form text, anti-slop and fact-check critics on Hermes-4-70B score each draft, and a cross-linker inserts wiki-style links before the article is sealed with provenance. The README sets a publish floor of 0.55 on both critic scores after one revision attempt, and says the canon agent skips around 40 percent of events.

Each in-world era has its own phonological rules and lexicon, so words drift between eras, for example karim to cherim to cherim-en. Articles get FLUX illustrations and ElevenLabs narration. For Hermes Agent users it provides 9 repo-local skills, an MCP bridge and a one-command setup script, setup-hermes-agent.sh. A live deployment runs at hermesgenesis.world, and the repository can be run with Docker Compose.
