What Hermes Startup Architect does

After you copy the SKILL.md into your Hermes skills directory, you prompt Hermes with your idea and ask it to use the startup-architect skill. The agent then runs web_search, terminal and write_file steps to build the kit: market_analysis.md, competitor_map.md, product_spec.md, business_model.md, pitch_deck.md, product_roadmap.md, investor_pitch.md and a landing_page.html styled with Tailwind CSS. The examples folder holds a complete kit for a project called FORGE, built during a live session.

The skill has an optional social-signal step. If you install the Hermes Tweet plugin and set XQUIK_API_KEY, the research pass can search X/Twitter for pain points, competitor mentions, launch reactions and why-now signals. The README limits that step to reading and exporting, and says posting, replying or sending DMs should stay outside the workflow unless a human explicitly confirms them. The project was built for Hermes Hackathon 2026 and has a homepage hosted on Vercel.
