Hermes skill that turns WhatsApp or Slack messages into Notion tasks and syncs weekly summaries to GBrain
Hermes Notion GBrain is a Hermes skill with Python scripts that create and update Notion tasks from natural-language WhatsApp or Slack messages. A weekly cron job also distils the week's tasks into GBrain knowledge pages.
What Hermes Notion GBrain does
Send a message such as "Follow up with the vendor sales rep on Thursday" and the agent infers a task request, detects the project, converts the relative date to YYYY-MM-DD, creates the task under the matching Notion project and confirms with a check mark. Other messages mark a task done, list pending tasks, move a due date or archive a task. Intent is inferred from natural language through the system prompt, with no explicit commands.
notion_tasks.py is a thin wrapper over the Notion REST API. Every Sunday, gbrain_enrichment.py queries Notion for tasks edited in the last seven days, groups them by project, sends each group to OpenAI gpt-4o-mini for distillation and writes one summary page per project to GBrain, reading the OpenAI key from GBrain's config. The README's example setup runs Hermes on an AWS VPS.
