Hermes Agent profile that reviews other agent profiles' work against quality standards

In short

Klerik is a Hermes Agent profile that acts as a quality gate for other agent profiles. It reviews code, configs and outputs, runs linters, tests and static analysis, and blocks work that does not meet its standards.

What Klerik does

Klerik is a Hermes Agent profile that acts as the quality gate in a multi-agent setup. It reviews code, configs and outputs produced by other agent profiles and checks them against standards covering security, performance, style and correctness. It can run linters, tests and static analysis tools, and it verifies that an agent's output meets its stated requirements.

The profile is built around blocking rather than advising. When a check fails, Klerik refuses to approve the work, reports what failed and why, and asks for fixes. Behavior is set in ~/.hermes/profiles/klerik/config.yaml through strictness (lenient, standard or strict, default standard), required_checks (tests, lint, security, docs) and auto_block_on_failure (default true). The README places it between a builder profile called Chizul and deployment, with a profile called Senter able to dispatch review tasks to it. It is one profile in a fleet by the same author.

Key features

  • Reviews code, configs and outputs from other agent profiles
  • Runs linters, tests and static analysis tools
  • Checks security, performance, style and correctness
  • Failure reports that say exactly what failed and why
  • Configurable strictness: lenient, standard or strict
  • Can block PRs and deployments automatically on failure

When to use it

  • Reviewing a pull request from a builder agent before it ships
  • Checking a Docker image for security vulnerabilities before deployment
  • Verifying that a database migration carries no data loss risk
  • Running a linter over a new codebase and collecting the issues

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who run several agent profiles and want a dedicated reviewer to check their output before it goes live.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

Klerik is a Hermes Agent profile, installed with hermes profile install and run with hermes chat --profile klerik. It is designed to work alongside other profiles in the author's fleet, such as Chizul, Senter and Anser.
