What hermes-even-ai-plugin does
The Even App's Add Agent feature takes an HTTPS URL and a bearer token, then forwards G2 voice input as OpenAI-compatible chat-completion POST requests and prints the reply on the HUD. This plugin is the endpoint on the Hermes side. It registers an even-ai platform with ctx.register_platform, so it appears in hermes status next to Telegram, and sessions, memory, skills and MCP are preserved.
Replies that finish within about 28 seconds appear on the HUD. Slower replies return a placeholder first, and the real answer is pushed through Telegram, which also carries proactive sends from skills and cron jobs because Even AI is request and response only. The Even App sends two parallel POSTs per turn, so the adapter shares one in-flight future between them. Output has markdown stripped and is cut at sentence boundaries to 400 characters for the 576 by 136 monochrome display. A debug echo mode, EVEN_AI_DEBUG_ECHO_DELAY, returns a fixed reply after a set delay. The adapter listens on port 8767.
