Hermes Virtual Office

JuniorXcoder/hermes-virtual-office

3D office where Hermes agents hold meetings and sync to a live Kanban board

In short

Hermes Virtual Office is a 3D virtual workspace, built with Next.js and Three.js, that visualizes a fleet of Hermes agents sitting at desks, holding meetings and talking to each other over the A2A protocol, driven by the official hermes CLI.

What Hermes Virtual Office does

Agents with work at their desk stop wandering and sit down; a duty-state machine decides, in strict priority order, whether a given avatar is in a meeting, an agent-to-agent call, working at its desk, reviewing someone else's work, or genuinely idle, and idle avatars never call a model. Meetings happen in one of five named rooms chosen by participants' divisions, with turns generated by real agents communicating over A2A and auto-generated minutes; QA reviewers physically walk to an owner's desk to inspect work.

Every served agent answers an A2A agent card so callers can see what it is before talking to it, and a Kanban board stays 100 percent synchronized with real Hermes tasks, including approvals, evidence and independent verification. The office reads and drives the installation entirely through the official hermes CLI, with one stated read-only exception, so it works against any local Hermes install without a bespoke API layer, and the author runs it to operate several of their own live businesses on the same Hermes install.

Key features

  • Duty-state machine (meeting > a2a > desk > review > idle) deciding where each avatar goes
  • Five named meeting rooms with real agent-to-agent turns and auto-generated minutes
  • A2A agent cards for discovery before any agent-to-agent call is made
  • Kanban board fully synchronized with real Hermes tasks, approvals and evidence
  • Driven entirely through the official hermes CLI, with no bespoke API layer

When to use it

  • Watching a fleet of Hermes agents work, meet and hand off tasks instead of reading logs
  • Visualizing which agent is blocked, in a meeting or genuinely idle at a glance
  • Running a synchronized Kanban board alongside a 3D view of real agent task state

Who it is for: Hermes Agent operators running multiple agents who want a visual, meeting-and-desk view of fleet activity instead of dashboards and logs.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

Hermes Virtual Office is built specifically to visualize and drive a real Hermes Agent installation, reading and controlling it entirely through the official hermes CLI.

Requirements: Next.js and Three.js runtime, and a local Hermes Agent installation driven through the official hermes CLI
