Nirvana-OS
gutomec/nirvana-os-engine
Runtime-agnostic multi-agent engine that runs companies, squads and mind-clones from one plain-prose brief
Nirvana-OS is a Bun-native, runtime-agnostic multi-agent operating system that sits above a terminal agent such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini-CLI, Antigravity or Hermes and dispatches companies, squads and mind-clones from a plain-prose brief.
What Nirvana-OS does
You describe an outcome in prose. The engine reads the brief, consults what you already own, dispatches work in parallel, reconciles the results behind a quality gate and writes an audit trail of every dispatch. It builds on three pieces: companies (autonomous organizations with persistent employees, kept in ~/businesses/), squads (portable agent teams with DAG workflows, quality gates and escalation, kept in ~/squads/) and mind-clones (persona DNA in five layers injected into employees).
The installer, npx @nirvana-os/cli, places a single skills tree at ~/.nirvana/skills, links it into ~/.claude, ~/.codex, ~/.gemini and ~/.antigravity wherever it finds them, and puts the nrv binaries on your PATH. It installs the engine without content, so registries start empty. Default operation is zero-human, with human input opt-in through triggers in the manifest. The skills route is npx skills add gutomec/nirvana-os-engine -g, and the README is available in six languages.
Key features
- Companies, squads and mind-clones as the three building blocks
- Parallel dispatch with a quality gate and a per-dispatch audit trail
- Single skills tree linked into each terminal agent it finds
- nrv doctor command to confirm the install is healthy
- Alternative install as the nirvana skill through skills.sh
When to use it
- Delegating a multi-part brief to several squads and getting one reconciled result with an audit trail
- Defining a company with persistent employees that call reusable squads
- Giving employees the working method of a chosen expert through a mind-clone
Who it is for: Users of terminal coding agents who want one agent to coordinate whole teams of agents.
