Native SwiftUI iPhone and iPad client for a self-hosted Hermes Agent
Hermes Mobile is a native SwiftUI iPhone and iPad app that works as a thin remote client for a self-hosted Hermes Agent, letting you chat with sessions, watch the agent work and approve or clarify its actions away from your desk.
What Hermes Mobile does
The agent keeps running on your Mac or server, and the app holds no agent logic. You enter the server URL and sign in with a username and password under gated auth (the recommended setup), through OAuth with Nous Research or your own OIDC server, or with a static token for loopback or --insecure setups. Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, and an unreachable server produces a retry screen that names the server instead of a sign-in form.
Sessions are grouped by workspace and can be searched, pinned, renamed, archived or deleted. A header pill switches Hermes profiles, each with its own session list, and custom profiles can be created with an optional SOUL.md. Streaming responses render as Markdown with tool and skill activity rows. The composer supports voice dictation transcribed by the agent, photo and file attachments, a queue for the next prompt, slash commands such as /compress, /undo and /status, and a pill showing context usage. The app is built with The Composable Architecture.
