What AI Memory Workspace Starter does

This repository is not the user's workspace. You paste one setup prompt into the file-aware agent you already use, which reads SETUP.md, temporarily downloads the package and copies only missing scaffold files from templates/workspace/ into your outer workspace. Existing projects stay in place, and existing files are preserved except for an AGENTS.md replacement that you confirm after reviewing the proposal.

The setup runs in stages: confirm or create the outer workspace, build a portable root USER.md and an interlinked wiki/, analyze approved child projects read-only, create or review a fused AGENTS.md, review or initialize the Git repository, then prove retrieval from a fresh session. The workspace owns USER.md, a CLAUDE.md compatibility bridge, projects/, skills/, outputs/ and wiki/. An optional prompt connects inner-project instruction files, and the temporary clone is removed afterwards. Git initialization, commits, remote creation and pushes all need your approval.
