What Wiki Knowledge Agent does

The skill follows three moves. Verify checks links on arrival, including HTTP status and redirects, and separates ads from genuinely useful content. Remember translates and summarizes the content into your language and saves it as a distilled note, for example wiki/knowledge/inbox/2026-08-26-chuseok-gifts.md. Nudge puts time-sensitive items such as security, expiry or project risk into a local alert queue, and offers reminders before holidays, birthdays and deadlines.

It needs only curl and the Python standard library, with no npm, pip or SaaS account. Onboarding asks four questions with usable defaults and writes ~/.config/wiki-knowledge-agent/config.yaml. For Hermes, the README says to place the skill under the profile's skills/note-taking/wiki-knowledge-agent/ folder, and that Hermes recognizes it from the next session. Alerts are local first, with Slack, Discord, Telegram or ntfy addable later. The save never waits on the reminder offer.
