What Cloud File Manager for Hermes does

Cloud File Manager for Hermes adds a Cloud Files page to Hermes Desktop for agents that run somewhere else, such as a VPS, a home server or a hosted agent. You can browse the agent's folders, search by name or glob, create folders, and upload files or whole folders by drag and drop. Folder structure is kept, large files upload in chunks with automatic retry, and uploads never overwrite existing files. Markdown and text files open read-only first, with an explicit edit, diff review and save step.

A Cloud entry in the chat plus menu lets you tick files already on the agent's machine and insert their locations into a message, so nothing is uploaded again and the agent opens the files itself. If the agent is signed in to Google through its google-workspace skill, you can also browse its Drive and import files. The package has two halves: a small API on the agent's gateway and screens in Hermes Desktop.
