PabloTheThinker/hermespace

Hermes Agent plugin that adds a bounded per-turn workbench and a persistent world model

In short

Hermespace is a Hermes Agent plugin that gives the agent a bounded, session-safe working room, selecting active concepts before a material turn and preserving continuity after it.

What Hermespace does

Hermespace has two parts. The World Model is a persistent agent world of beliefs, landmarks, traits, goals and relationships kept in a local JSONL archive, with stages measured by accumulated experience rather than wall-clock time. The Workbench is a desk for the current turn: a focus of attention capped at four items, dual decode (a short human report and a lean injection for the model), a fabric that ranks Hermes skills for the goal and injects MEMORY.md and USER.md excerpts, optional neural focus using Ollama embeddings, and an autonomy grid.

It connects through Hermes hooks for session start, before and after LLM calls, tool and skill lifecycle, kanban claim and completion, subagent start and stop, and session finalize. Hermes stays the actor, and the optional HermesCube and Insight plugins are used only when present. It never rewrites a plugin list or memory provider you already chose, and a desktop view plugin is included. The README names Hermes Agent v0.20.0 or newer as the production target. The license is MIT.
