Desktop app for switching ChatGPT and Claude accounts, model routing and one-click AI tool setup
EchoBird is a cross-platform desktop app that manages ChatGPT, Codex CLI and Claude Code accounts, routes between models with failover, and installs AI tools with one click. Its README lists Hermes Agent among the tools its install and repair agent can set up.
What EchoBird does
EchoBird has four scenarios that share a Model Nexus, a single data hub for OpenAI, Anthropic, local LLMs and API routers. An Install and Repair Agent lets an AI install and fix tools such as Claude Code, OpenClaw and Hermes Agent, locally or remotely. A one-click local LLM scenario bundles vLLM, SGLang and llama.cpp runtimes. My AI Projects holds your own apps and games, and an App Manager launches and manages AI apps.
In the App Manager you can save multiple ChatGPT and Claude Code accounts, view their usage quota and choose which account to use when launching a tool. Multi-model smart routing supports priorities and automatic failover, and a latency check runs before you commit to a model. Builds exist for Windows, macOS and Linux on x64 and arm64. The author built it after friends kept asking for help installing Claude Code, OpenClaw and Hermes Agent.
