Native Android client for the Hermes agent gateway, with chat and management over Tailscale or LAN
Hermes for Android is a native Kotlin and Jetpack Compose app that connects to a remote Hermes agent gateway and gives you chat plus management of sessions, models, profiles, cron jobs, usage and messaging integrations. It is a phone companion to the Hermes Desktop app.
What Hermes for Android does
Hermes for Android connects to a remote Hermes gateway over Tailscale, another private VPN or a local network. A three-tab bottom bar (Chats, Agent Activity, You) sits on a Material 3 design system in which each tenant profile has its own accent color, so you can see which client you are acting as. Chat has streaming responses, a model picker, slash commands with an inline palette, @ file mentions, image attachments and tool-call approval prompts.
The Agent Activity tab is a Mission Control feed grouped into Live now, Upcoming and Recent, merging conversations and cron for the active profile, and you can swipe between tenants. Other screens cover sessions with search, pinning and archiving, cron job create, edit, pause and run-now, a daily token chart with per-model breakdown, and messaging integrations with guided credential setup. The app is distributed as a signed APK on GitHub Releases.
