Hermes Go Quota

Hermes plugin that appends your OpenCode Go quota to each final reply when that provider is active

In short

Hermes Go Quota is a Hermes Agent plugin that appends your OpenCode Go usage, covering the 5-hour rolling, weekly and monthly windows, to every final assistant reply when the active provider is opencode-go.

What Hermes Go Quota does

The plugin uses the transform_llm_output hook, so it needs no changes to Hermes core and works on the CLI, Telegram and other gateway platforms, including streaming mode where the streamed message is edited in place. It only appends the line when model.provider is opencode-go or the base URL contains opencode.ai/zen/go, so switching providers makes the line disappear. Setting OPENCODE_GO_QUOTA_MODE=always forces it on. Data is cached for 60 seconds, and any failure is silent, so the reply goes out unchanged.

OpenCode Go has no public API for remaining quota, so the plugin reads the dashboard using the auth cookie from your browser session, which starts with Fe26. The cookie goes in ~/.hermes/opencode_go_quota.json, in ~/.config/opencode-go-quota/config.json or in the OPENCODE_GO_AUTH_COOKIE variable. quota.py also works as a standalone CLI with a --refresh flag. An optional patch can show the quota below the runtime footer, but it modifies a Hermes core file and may be overwritten by updates. Both Python files use only the standard library.

Key features

  • Quota line with 5-hour rolling, weekly and monthly usage appended to final replies
  • Shown only when the active provider is opencode-go
  • Works on the CLI, Telegram and other gateways, including streaming mode
  • 60 second cache and silent failure so replies are never blocked
  • quota.py standalone CLI with a --refresh option
  • Optional patch to place the quota under the runtime footer

When to use it

  • Seeing how much OpenCode Go quota remains after every answer in Telegram
  • Running quota checks from cron or a watchdog with the standalone CLI
  • Hiding the line automatically when you switch to a different provider

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who run models through OpenCode Go and want to watch their quota without opening the dashboard.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

It is a Hermes Agent plugin that registers on the transform_llm_output hook and reads Hermes' model provider settings.
